Quintana at school

It is a great project that involves every year over 1300 pupils of preschools, primary schools and secondary schools in Foligno. Meetings in class, visits to local offices, taverns, stables, interviews with the protagonists complete the training offer.
The “La Quintana a Scuola” Project was born in 2003 to bring young people closer to the Giostra della Quintana. Conjugating Quintana and School means, in fact, to introduce children to the history of the city, the tradition, the activities and the innovations of that powerful machine of the time that is the great Feast of Foligno. A project made possible by the availability of school leaders and teachers who have inserted this new subject into the educational offer plan of their respective institutions.
