The taverns represent the heart of the Quarters. Each contrada has got its own tavern where the people meet and share their passion for the Quintana. The dishes are accompanied by the best wines produced in this territory and they take the typicalness of the Umbrian tradition into consideration. Architecturally the taverns are very interesting because they show ancient cellars or other parts of ancient buildings. A lot of voluntary members of the quarters serve food and wine in the taverns. Boys and girls dressed in costume welcome friendly all the people from Foligno and those who come from outside the town to enjoy the Giostra or to experience part of the Festival.
